I do not know what all the excitement is about relative to near death experiences (NDE). I had them all the time growing up. Every time I misbehaved (which was quite often), my dad would beat me within an inch of my life!
Not long ago, I read one of those NDE books –about near death experiences. This one was written by a neurosurgeon named Eben Alexander. It is entitled Proof of Heaven. Have you ever asked yourself why almost no one writes of a near death experience in which they wake up in hell and spend a few minutes there? They always go to heaven – for some reason.
Plus, when they get “back” to earth, they never forsake their old man-made religion and seek out the church you read about in the Bible. They don’t obey the Gospel – so far as I know. Their NDE always justifies their own lifestyle and their own choices.
Man has all kinds of ideas about how to get to heaven. Little Billy, caught in mischief, was asked by his mother, “How do you expect to get into heaven?”

No one can see God unless Jesus approves it. No one can see heaven unless Jesus approves it. Jesus said, “unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). No one can see heaven until they have obeyed Jesus.
What I would like to see is someone who has had an NDE and then preaches & teaches the exact same message Jesus, Paul and Peter did! If they don’t, then they haven’t seen God’s heaven.
