Commands, inference, and Bible examples

THE BIBLE PERMITS US MANKIND TO DO THINGS IN ONE OF THREE WAYS.

1)    In some places God uses what are sometimes referred to as direct statements or commands.
a)    Things like repentance, baptism, and love are expressed as commands or direct statements.
b)    In addition to direct statements and commands, the Bible expects us to use inference.
c)    Inference means we have some information and we “infer” or draw a conclusion from this information.
2)    In Mt. 19:6 – we may infer from this verse that divorce is not going to be good.
3)    After commands/direct statements plus inferences, we have Bible examples.
4)    We have Bible examples of Christians coming together for worship and we follow this example.
5)    We also follow the example of when the first century church met for worship (Sunday).

d)    Those who are on the way to hell may often blend in just like everyone else in this life.
e)    This Bible example tells us people will be sent to hell “after the harvest” (the end of the world).
2)    Bad wheat plus the image of burning tell us we do not want to go to hell.
3)    Mt. 25.
