So long as we remain in the love of God we can depend on him to grant to us the measure of courage and strength to keep us safe whatever the trial or burden is troubling How beautiful are the words spoken by our Lord to his disciples in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” Turning to John 14:1, we hear Jesus as he tells us, Let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe in me also.”
We are weak, frail human beings and because of this there will be those moments when we will become discouraged but so long as we have the touch of the Master’s hand on our hearts we will not defeated (Rom. 8:37-39). In His hands we are safe. He is the fountain from whence all blessings flow and with our confidence in Him, we will not fail.

Being safe in the arms of Jesus, we can believe and embrace Romans 8:28 with all our being, “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. No matter what trial besets us we have a mighty arm on which to lean, one that will strengthen and guide us safely on our way (Ps. 46:1, Phil. 4:13, Heb. 4:14-16). The Lord is our hiding place and in him there is safety and security (Ps. 27:5, Ps. 23). I pray that God’s tender love and care will always surround you as you make your way down the pathway of life.
