Humans might die for a good man but few, if any, would die for wicked men (vs 7). But God showed His love for us by having Christ die for us, even when we were wicked (vs 8).
Being justified by the blood of Christ, we are saved from God’s wrath (vs 9). This has been revealed, you remember, through the Gospel (1:17). Even though we were His enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of Christ and, by the same token, we are saved by His sinless, obedient life (vs 10). This being the case, we glory, exult, boast in God through Jesus Christ through whom we have such reconciliation (vs 11).
Sin entered the world through Adam and death followed in its wake (vs 12). Just as faith goes back to Abraham (chapter 4), sin goes back to Adam (vs 13), back before the law. So, death reigned from Adam until Moses until the law could be given (to the Jews) to restrain sin (that will be the focus of chapter 7). Many (everyone really) died through the sin of Adam but many (Christians) will live, by the grace of God, through the gift which is Jesus Christ (vs 15).
