Cursed be their anger, Genesis 49:7

1)    Gen. 49:7 – READ
2)    Jacob said Simeon and Levi had some anger issues.

AS LONG AS OUR WORLD EXISTS WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ANGRY PEOPLE FOR ALL KINDS OF REASONS.  WHAT PEOPLE DO WHEN THEY ARE ANGRY WILL VARY (SOME MAY SLAM A DOOR AND OTHERS MAY RESORT TO MURDER), BUT THERE IS ONE THING THAT SHOULD BE CONSISTENT:

a)    There are some Bible passages that we need to know and apply when it comes to anger.
b)    Ps. 37:8 talks about turning from wrath and cease being angry.

2)    Prov. 12:16 teaches that a “fool” is “quick tempered.”
3)    In Mt. 5:22 Jesus spoke about being angry with a fellow saint.
a)    Gal. 5:20 Paul used the word “wraths.”
b)    Outbursts of anger are listed as a work of the flesh.
4)    2 Cor. 12:20.
5)    1 Tim. 2:8.
6)    Some anger, like that of Moses in Ex. 32, can be righteous.
7)    Most of the anger we see in our world is unrighteous.
8)    Anger is a one of life’s many choices.
