He is coming to raise the dead (John 5:28-29), with a tremendous sound that will be simultaneously heard around the world (1Thessalonians 4:16), and it will all happen in the twinkling of an eye (1Corinthians 15:52). All the clocks around the world shut down; time will cease; Judgment begins. All will be judged according to the “Gospel” (Romans 2:16), and their adherence to it (2Corinthians 5:10).
Jesus Himself asked, “When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on earth?” (Luke 18:8). Since faith comes by hearing the Word (Romans 10:17), Jesus asked, “When the Son of Man returns, will He find anyone adhering to God’s Word?” Are you one of the “few?”
