THE END OF THIS VERSE SAYS “NO WORK COULD BE DONE” ON THE DAY THAT IS COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.

THOSE WHO LIVED UNDER THE OLD TESTAMENT HAD A LOT OF RULES TO FOLLOW.
